ARIA winning singer-songwriter Meg Washington is heading on a 23-date national tour of Australia in 2026.
In celebration of her critically acclaimed recent album GEM, the masterful storyteller will take her 'Natural Beauty Tour' on the road across Australia, kicking off in Queenscliff in February, with multiple stops across Victoria, NSW, South Australia, Queensland, ACT, and Western Australia, before wrapping in Armidale in May.
Each night of the tour will be truly unique, with a setlist often chosen according to the special, connected moment that is shared between artist and audience.
Tickets for the live shows, presented by Craft Music, go on sale at 11am (AEDT) on Wednesday, November 18th.
Her shows are an intimate, captivating spell. Alone at the piano, the soaring melodies and lyrical poetry of her songwriting are laid bare, as Washington makes her way through a selection of songs from her impressive five-album catalogue.
She explained: "I grew up singing in jazz clubs, so these intimate solo shows feel so right to me. I love to improvise, and these shows are the perfect chance.”
The tour is named after her latest single, "Natural Beauty", lifted from her album, which is accompanied by a visually breathtaking music video. Watch it below.

“’Natural Beauty’ is the song at the heart of GEM. It took a long time to write," Washington said. "It’s the only piano song on the album and is written as a sort of list of various complaints I have about being an artist inside a capitalistic world. I never imagined I would use ‘superannuation’ as a lyric, but the songs always find a way to startle me."
Adding to her various many accolades over a stellar career spanning 15 years, this month Meg won Best Original Song Composed for the Screen for “Dream On” from BINGE’s How to Make Gravy, the film adaptation of Paul Kelly’s iconic Christmas song at the 2025 Screen Music Awards. Plus, a Double J Australian Artist of the Year 2025 nomination and a 2025 ARIA Award nomination for Best Adult Contemporary Album for the album GEM.
