Melbourne Zoo Twilights have scored their highest-selling year ever

The concert series proving to be an ever-popular night for countless Aussies.

Over the years, we've seen proof that zoo animals and music make for a perfect mix, with events such as Melbourne Zoo Twilights and Sydney's Twilight At Taronga concert series proving to be an ever-popular night for countless Aussies. Now, Melbourne Zoo Twilights have announced that their upcoming year of gigs has proven to be their most successful yet.

Just under two months since they first released their stellar lineup, the Victorian concert series has announced that the upcoming 2018 season has become their best-selling season in the series' 20+ year history.

With 16 shows announced between January and March, nine have already sold out, including extra shows for The Cat Empire, Ben Folds, and Neil & Liam Finn, whose third show marks the first time in the event's history that one artist has played three shows.

Currently, the performances for Jet and RocKwiz LIVE! have under 100 tickets left, so if you're keen on seeing these acts live in the flesh, now would be the perfect time to go and snag your ticket (or buy a Christmas present for someone who loves music).

Taking place every weekend from January 26th until March 10th, all profits from Melbourne Zoo Twilights are put back into Zoos Victoria's attempts to fight extinction of some of Australia's most endangered species. So when you're out and about enjoying a night of awesome music, and enjoying some lovely animals, don't forget how much you're helping some of Australia's most helpless residents.
