However her current dates with Ed Sheeran – which puts her in front of almost 1 million patrons –  has also created a wave of excitement.

Higgins is currently on the road with international superstar Sheeran as special guest on his Australian stadium tour, with sold-out shows still to come in Sydney and Brisbane.

When the tour comes to a close, she will have played to almost a million people across the country. In addition to these stadium dates, Missy will also perform a stripped down show at the Blue Mountains Music Festival on March 18 and a full band gig on Cottesloe Beach in Perth on April 8, for which tickets are already on sale.

All her records have returned to the iTunes charts.

The Sound of White is already in the top 25, and still climbing.

There are five Higgins tracks in the iTunes singles chart.

These include current single ‘Futon Couch’, which has also made it to #2 on the alternative chart.

To top it all off, her back catalogue has also garnered more than 2.5 million streams on Spotify in the last month.
