Jeff Drake, Head of A&R at Ministry of Sound Australia, said, “I am incredibly excited to be partnering with Casablanca for the US roll out of Timmy Trumpet and Savage’s Freaks. Timmy and Savage are brilliantly unique artists whose sound and style translates well beyond their home countries of Australia and New Zealand. Casablanca have brilliant enthusiasm for both artists and their sound, and share our excitement for what they can achieve in the US.”
Brett Alperowitz, A&R, Casablanca/Republic Records, added, “Casablanca is supremely excited to add Timmy Trumpet and Savage’s Freaks to our roster. Melbourne bounce is on the verge of a global emergence. Like the genre as a whole, Freaks is a fantastic mix of EDM, urban and pop, three of the most relevant genres in the musical landscape today. With the support of Republic Records, we look forward to a great run with Timmy and Savage in the US with Freaks and beyond.”
