most heard airplay tracks this withe december 19 tmn hot 100

At #1 this week is Taylor Swift’s Blank Space, which blindsided Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, coming all the way up from #4. This marks a new high point for the track as it’s been sitting in the #2-4 range for the past three weeks. Now at #2 is Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, the lowest the track has been in eight weeks. Although it isn’t at #1 anymore, it is definitely not the last we’ve seen of this track at the Top as it still holds a considerable amount of airplay and the gap between it and Blank Space is very small. At #3 is yet again Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk featuring Bruno Mars. The hit has remained at that position for three weeks in a row now which is still a very strong position to have. We’ll have to wait and see whether or not it can climb any higher in the New Year however.

Falling to #4 this week is Meghan Trainor’s Lips Are Movin. TMN believes this will be floating around the Top 5 for still quite some time. At #6 is Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off, which is the highest the former #1 has been in five weeks.  It’s doubtful that it will be able to climb any higher however. Maintaining their hold at #7 is Nico & Vinz with In Your Arms. It’s hard to tell whether or not this track is still on its way out of the Top 10 or if will still be sticking around for the New Year.

Dropping to #8 is The Veronicas’ If You Love Someone, which looks as if it may have hit its Top 10 peak at #5 last week. #9 sees a new entry into the Top 10, this time from Peking Duk’s Take Me Over featuring Safia, which is up from #16. It's a new highpoint for the track and TMN expects it will climb even higher come the new year’s chart. #10 sees Alesso’s Heroes drop from #8, the lowest it’s been in 11 weeks. It’s likely that we will be seeing this track fall out of the Top 10 come the next chart.
