With the holidays well and truly over it's time to see just how drastic the changes in airplay over the three-week period of TMN’s break has been. First and foremost, we have a new #1 in the form of Hozier’s Take Me To Church. It sits at the top spot up from #19 in the last issue of 2014 and is technically only in its third week in the chart. Down from its previous best of #1 to #2 is Taylor Swift’s Blank Space while Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk featuring Bruno Mars sits at #3 for the fourth week in a row.

#4 sees Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud fall from #2 and the next few weeks could see it drop from the Top 10 altogether. Up at #5 from #9 is Peking Duk with Take Me Over featuring Safia. This hit single sets a personal best not only for the track itself but for Peking Duk, as their highest charting single on the airplay chart to date. Their previous best was High which peaked at #11 early last year. James Bay makes #6 with Hold Back The River up rom #39, a fast mover and only its second week in the chart.

Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding’s Outside drops to #7 this week down form #5 as it continues its descent out of the Top 10. The Avener hits #8 with Fade Out Lines up from #26, another of this week’s fast movers and follows it making the most added chart for the previous two issues of the chart.  Nicki Minah makes a small but significant jump this week from #11 to #9, making the Top 10 bracket and setting a new peak for her track Bed Of Lies featuring Skylar Grey. At #10 is a new debut in the chart from OMI’s Cheerleader, an incredibly high debut and it also happens to be this week’s second most added song to radio.
