Sheeran maintains his lead at #1 yet again with Thinking Out Loud and it appears Taylor Swift’s Blank Space hasn’t received enough airplay to make a move for the top as it remains at #2 this week. The margin of airplay between the two tracks is still fairly significant. There is some good news at #3 however with Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk featuring Bruno Mars making the jump from #7. Reaching #3 after just three weeks in the chart is not something to be taken lightly. If Ronson manages to close the gap with Swift then it may very well see this track hitting #1 when spins for Sheeran start to decline.

Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding’s Outside makes #4 this week, a new peak up from their previous best at #6. #5 sees a decline from Meghan Trainor’s Lips Are Movin which was at #3 last week, although TMN believes it isn’t the last this track has seen of the Top 5. Alesso’s Heroes drops to #6 and it looks unlikely that this track will be able to come close to its previous best of #2 anytime soon (if ever).

The Magician’s Sunlight featuring Years & Years moves back up to #7, defying predictions of it falling out of the Top 10 last week. Nico & Vinz hit a new peak at #8 with In Your Arms which is up from last week’s #9. The track has been replaced by The Script’s Superheroes, the lowest chart placing for the song in five weeks. At #10 is One Direction’s Steal My Girl. Not only is it a new peak for the track, it is also the highest 1D have ever reached on the TMN Hot 100. The last single that came close was Live While We’re Young which peaked at #14.
