Its seven-year association with Australian health insurer nib ended on June 30.
HBF’s brand strategy is to align with places where healthy sports is played, and to mark the fact that the fund pays out $4 million a day in benefits and is “a force for good in the local community”, says CEO John Van Der Wielen.
The health fund also has the naming rights to HBF Stadium in Mt Claremont and HBF Arena in Joondalup.
In terms of music acts, among those recently treading its boards were Foo Fighters and RNB Fridays Live, with Red Hot Chilli Peppers booked for next year.
