Native Tongue is excited to announce a sub-publishing agreement with Wixen Music Publishing, Inc. for Australia and New Zealand.
Wixen Music Publishing, Inc. was formed in 1978 as an alternative channel for publishing administration, copyright management, and royalty compliance review. Founder Randall Wixen used knowledge gained via an economics degree from UCLA and several professional-level courses on law and business aspects of music publishing to pioneer the publishing administration business.
Wixen Music Publishing, Inc. has offices in Los Angeles and a sister company in London and administers over 4,000 individuals and publishing companies comprising the very top songwriters and recording artists from all genres of popular music. Current Wixen clients include Tom Petty, Styx, Journey, The Doors, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, the Beach Boys’ Brother Publishing, Jonathan Richman, Michael McDonald and the Doobie Brothers, and Stephen Stills. More contemporary clients include Rage Against The Machine, Rancid, NOFX, Cake, Fitz and The Tantrums, Weezer and Missy Elliot.
