Netflix looks set to premiere a Beyoncé documentary this month.

Over the weekend, the streaming giant teased on social media a yellow image with the words ‘Homecoming’ and the date: April 17.

Sharp-eyed Beyhive fans noted that the Netflix teaser had the same colour and font as the singer’s Coachella announcement and some of her merchandise.

In addition, Beyoncé announced her scholarship program called Homecoming, through her BeyGood initiative.

US Weekly reported a day prior to the teaser that B is in the middle of a collaborative project with Netflix.

So April 17 is when Netflix is expected to premiere a Beyoncé concert special around her performance last year at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

The performance took 'cella fans back through the pop Queens' 20-year catalogue, and also included a reunion of her girl group Destiny's Child featuring Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland.

Whether the 10 million+ subscribers to Australian Netflix will get the concert film on the same date is not yet known.

Her 2016 HBO special Lemonade also arrived with minimal fanfare.
