Returning to the Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2017, #LIVEANDLOUD has partnered with Telstra to bring a free show that will offer artists the opportunity to perform in front of young country music fans and families.

Telstra #LIVEANDLOUD will be held at Toyota Park on January 24, with the lineup showcasing the finest emerging talent in regional Australia. The free show line up will include: Caitlyn Shadbolt (pictured), Kaylens Rain, Chelsea Basham, Kaylee Bell, Melanie Dyer, Route 33 as well as some special guests.

All of the aforementioned artists have featured in TMN’s own Country Music Chart, the only official Australian airplay country Top 20 chart.

Originally conceived in 2015, #LIVEANDLOUD has become a staple event at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, undergoing significant expansion over the years. The first #LIVEANDLOUD event was held at the Courthouse Hotel and featured three artists on the bill.

The following year, the show was moved to Toyota Park and became a full concert production to accommodate increased popularity and an extended lineup of artists.

Along with the success of #LIVEANDLOUD, the Tamworth Country Music Festival has become the largest country music event in the Southern Hemisphere and is one of the longest running festivals in Australia.

Barry Harley, Tamworth Regional Council Manager, Events and Country Music said: “it is a perfect example of the wide variety of country music we have at the Toyota Country Music Festival, Tamworth, and the best part is it’s absolutely free!”
