Niche welcomes Slum Sociable to agency roster

Fresh from a national headline tour to finish the year celebrating the release of their latest single ‘Name Call’, Niche are excited to welcome Melbourne duo Slum Sociable to the agency roster.

Steeped in groove, and merging soul with hip‐hop and electronica, ‘Name Call’ is the first cut from the subversive Melbourne duo’s awaited debut album., set for release in 2017,  setting up an exciting year ahead. ‘Name Call’ adds to Slum Sociable’s already impressive repertoire, which includes single ‘Anyway’, along with ‘All Night’ and ‘Apartment’ from their debut EP, TQ, released late in 2015.

The EP’s seductive charm saw Slum Sociable cut through internationally, gracing the Top 5 of the Hype Machine charts, popping up on a host of Spotify playlists and receiving love from global radio sta on Beats 1, along with BBC Radio 1 and KCRW. It also saw the duo release a single via tastemaker label Kitsune and tour globally: playing a string of headline dates in the UK and US on top of sold‐out shows back home including coveted Australian festivals Laneway and Splendour in the Grass.
