Northern Territory acts Tjintu Desert Band, Green Stone Garden, OK Kaleidoscope, Jenni Boon, Broadwing, Miazma, Gareth Dawkins and Skarlett are among the finalists for NT Song of the Year.
More than 340 songs entered the competition, according to organiser MusicNT. 45 were selected for nine categories including Rock, Pop, Folk, Electronic/Dance, Heavy, Country, Urban/Hip Hop, Blues & Roots and School-Aged.
The winners will be announced on Saturday June 28 as part of the Original Recipe festival.
In addition, Tjintu Desert Band from near Alice Springs are added to the National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs) in Darwin. They join Dan Sultan, Tom E Lewis, Desert Divas and The Chooky Dancers.
