The bloodletting at newly merged Fairfax and Macquarie Radio Network's continued today, with more of the Fairfax senior management group leaving the company.
It includes Group Program Director Clarke Forbes, National News Director and Acting GM for Melbourne Rob Curtain. Also exiting is 2UE Sydney GM, Chris Parker and confirmation of the departure of Brisbane GM Anthony Frangi.
Passing of a Radio Legend: David Day
David “Daisy” Day has sadly lost his battle.
Daisy was the Godfather of Adelaide radio. He dominated the Adelaide airwaves during the 70’s 80’s and 90’s on 5KA, SAFM and Triple M.

Newcastle Survey #1 Released
Survey #1 for Newcastle 2015 is out, with some significant movements amongst the stations.
SCA’s KO FM remains on top at Number 1 all people 10+ by a strong margin, with 15.6%, up a bit from the last book in 2014.
Local ABC 1233 is 2nd overall, they had the biggest jump of this round and command 13.6% of the 10+ share.
NXFM felt some pain, losing nearly a full point but still 3rd overall with a 10.7.
NEW FM cracked double figures in the final survey of 2014 with a 10.5, they took a hit this time; losing 1.5 points to now hold an 8.5% share of Newcastle. Stablemate 2HD did well, up 0.6 to be fourth with 10.4.
