DAB+ Trial Extended
CRA has been given the green light by AMCA to extend the DAB+ digital radio trial licences in Canberra and Darwin until 30 June, 2015.
Commercial Radio Australia CEO, Joan Warner said: “Both trials have provided valuable insights into coverage planning that will help ensure regional rollout of DAB+ provides cost effective reception.”
The plan is to experiment further with new features and functions that are unique to DAB+.
Nova’s Red Room Global Tour - that’s a wrap

Nova’s Red Room Global Tour kicked off late last week in Sydney and wrapped up last night in New York with Usher.
It was a whirlwind tour that started at Sydney’s Marquee nightclub with Justice Crew, Dami Im and Bonnie Anderson, then to LA for Samantha Jade; across to Las Vegas for G.R.L and the final stop was Usher in New York.
Usher performed in front of an intimate crowd of 100 special guests at Marquee nightclub in New York. After a meet and greet plus photos with Nova’s Red Room Global Tour competition winners, Nova’s Smallzy welcomed the singer on stage.
