Previously here at Radio Today we compiled the list of The Top 40 Most Influential Men in Radio which ran last year 2014 . Back in 2012 we ran the Top 27 Most Influential Women in Radio.

This year we have put them together for the Top 50 Most Influential People in Radio.

The list includes on-air talent, management, senior executives, directors and owners who have influence on the airwaves and the business of radio.

They contribute to contemporary culture and can influence society's views, standards and opinions. They are the men and women who help shape the fortunes of the Australian radio industry

Nathan Cera: “Why you need to get fired, like me”

Nathan Cera was one of Radio Today’s Top New Talent to watch in 2014. He’s about to become the new breakfast anchor at Mix 102.3 with ARN Adelaide. His career has seen him co-host of Sea FM Central Coast breakfast with Dani Pola. He’s worked Perth at both 92.9 and Nova 937.  He’s also been fired from four of five stations he has worked at.

2GB Breached By ACMA

The Australian Communications and Media Authority has found that 2GB has breached the Commercial Radio Codes of Practice 2013.

The investigation concerning accuracy goes back to September 2013 when Alan Jones talked about the rate of global warming in a report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
