openlive partners with yamaha for musiccast promotion

PRESS RELEASE:

OpenLIVE, winner of the 2016 Sound+Image Innovation Award has partnered with Yamaha Music Australia, leaders in home audio, in a promotion for their award-winning MusicCast wireless multi-room system. For years Yamaha Music have been the leaders in home audio in Australia and indeed on a global scale, so OpenLIVE is very excited to be partnering with such a prominent global brand.

The promotion, which begun on 1 December and will run through until 1 January 2016, offers customers who purchase certain products in the MusicCast range a $50 credit for the OpenLIVE download store. A key differentiator from other wireless multi-room systems is the support for Hi-Res audio on selected models. Yamaha’s MusicCast system also won ‘Multi-Room System of the Year’ at the 2016 Sound+Image Awards, making the partnership a perfect match.

Products included in the promotion are:

  • STUDIO (NX-N500);
  • R-N602 MusicCast Stereo Receiver; and
  • MCR-N670 MusicCast Micro Hi Fi System

“Hi-Res audio is of significant importance in getting the best out of our fantastic products” says Russell Wykes, Marketing and Business Development Manager at Yamaha Music Australia. “However as many listeners are moving to digital music formats including streaming and downloads, most music that people have had access to has been in MP3 format - meaning the customer has been missing out. Our partnership with OpenLIVE helps us deliver a better experience for customers while also an opportunity to work with an Australian music service.”
