pretty city announce vinyl tour

PRESS RELEASE:

When asking Melbourne psyche rock legends PRETTY CITY, “Why?”in the era of digital downloads, streaming and CD’s,they wanted to pursue the costly exercise of putting their debut album ‘COLORIZE’onto Vinyl, this is how they answered:

"There’s got to be a reason Madonna says ’Hey Mr DJ put a RECORD on I wanna dance with my baby’. And here it is: Digital is instant coffee music: you mostly eat it with a spoon rushing out the door. It does ok, however, Vinyl has that dark, sticky flavour. It melts your face and caresses your soul at the same time. Who wouldn’t sign up for that?"Hugh - Pretty City

Really … how can you possibly argue with that?

Pretty City’s debut album COLORIZE has taken the band to new heights not only in the land down under but in the big shiny beacon of eternal rock star dreams, the US of A.

Keeping good company with artists like The Kills & Paul Simon, ‘Colorize’ is the 12th most added record to US college radio &is one of only two independent records to be included in the top 20.

To celebrate the boys are packing the van & taking the show back on the road.
