Astral People's Tom Huggett, Future Classic's Alexander Franco and Stop Start Music's Tessa Karen have been tapped for the inaugural Select Talks, a conference series curated by Mixcloud and artist, event, creative and venue booking management agency St. O'Donnell.

The first in the series will see the aforementioned discuss the world of artist management on Thursday (Jan 18) to an intimate audience of just 25 people.

Tickets are $28.59 and include complimentary drinks throughout the night.

Speaking to TIO, Chinyama Zuze from St. O'Donnell explained how the series came about:

"We realised there wasn't much affordable support and advice available to up and coming artist managers or anyone wanting to work on the artist management side of things," he said.

Chinyama Zuze said attendees can expect "a very laid back atmosphere."

"We want everyone to have a chance to interact and ask the speakers questions," he said. [...] People can expect a very laid back atmosphere and I think because this is such an intimate event, the speakers will be very open and answer all questions put forward to them."
