Following their performance at last month’s Splendour In The Grass, British act Royal Blood have partnered with Fox League to promote the upcoming NRL final series.

The boys took part in a lofty video shoot atop the Sydney Cricket Ground looking over Allianz Stadium next door, with NRL HQ situated further down the road.

Complete with pyrotechnics, LED screens and lights, the footage will be used across all finals games on Fox League during half-time up until the semifinals in October.

According to Warner Music Group, the band’s label, Royal Blood will continue to appear on Fox League during the semifinals with additional suprise footage. 

“It’s great to be a part of this initiative, we know the Aussies take their sport seriously and we’re honoured to end the season with a bang,” the group said on their official Facebook page.

Royal Blood will return be returning to Australia and New Zealand in April and May next year for a string of headline shows. The band will play six dates to support their mst recent album How Did We Get So Dark?

It debuted at #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart upon release in June 2017. Together, the tracks ‘Lights Out’, ‘I Only Lie When I Love You’ and ‘Hook, Line & Sinker’ have gained nearly 20 million streams since April.
