Deezer are reportedly in talks with Samsung, the results of which could be a hefty investment by the electronics company, according to French newspaper Le Journal du Dimache.

While neither party has commented as yet, this move comes at an interesting time for the streaming world, with the launch of Beats Music less than a week away.

Deezer currently have partnerships with various telecoms – Deutsch Telekom, Orange, Belgacom, Everything Everywhere  – however an investment by the Korean electronics giant would certainly be its most significant team-up to date.
