scott helman announces pair of shows for first visit to australia

Canadian Scott Helman has touched down in Australia for the first time ever and is raring to go for two intimate shows.

The singer-songwriter will perform tonight, February 14 in Sydney at the Oxford Art Factory Gallery, before heading down to Melbourne for a show this Friday February 16 at The Toff.

Helman’s live show has delighted audiences across the US and Canada, and his debut Australian dates promise to be nothing short of amazing, having previously shared the live stage with the likes of Tegan & Sara, Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara.

The young Canadian broke through with his 2014 Canadian Platinum single ’Bungalow’, and has since garnered over 30 million Spotify streams across over 6 million listeners worldwide.

Helman also won Spotify’s first ever Emerge program - a competition that saw him pitted against 12 other emerging Canadian artists. He also has two Juno awards to his name.

The endearing video clip for his most recent single ’PDA’ was shot in a Hotel Room whilst Helman was on tour.

Tickets for Helman’s debut Aussie shows tonight and Friday are on sale now.
