In this week’s Australian Singles Report, Liam Payne finally lets up on the TMN Hot 100 while radio falls over itself to add the new Taylor Swift.

After six long weeks at #1, ‘Strip That Down’ ft. Quavo relinquishes its grip on the Hot 100 to P!NK’s ‘What About Us’, making it the 12th #1 single on the chart this year. It’s also the singer’s 14th Hot 100 single, going back to ‘Who Knew’ in 2007 – not even Delta Goodrem or Rihanna have as many.

Just behind at #2, and setting a new record, Taylor Swift’s ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ claims the highest debut on the chart ever – overthrowing her ex Harry Styles’ record, which he set earlier this year when ‘Sign Of The Times’ landed at #3 in April.

It’s already topping spins on Hit, Nova and KIIS and is almost guaranteed to push to #1 next week. This will make it her sixth #1 single on the chart joining ‘Love Story’, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’, ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Blank Space’, and ‘Bad Blood’.

Leading the Hot 100 Heatseekers on its second week is Latin remix ‘Reggaeton Lento’ by Little Mix and CNCO, rising up half the chart from #91 to #43. There’s more upward movement in store for the track as more and more radio stations board the Latin bandwagon.

Winner of Unearthed High 2017, Arno Faraji is appearing all over this week’s Australian and Alternative charts. ’Destiny’s’ comes in at #1 on the Alternative Hot 100, #4 on the triple j Hit List and #2 on the triple j Unearthed chart.

Lastly, Guy Sebastian looks the best chance to convince radio this week with new single ‘High On Me’. It’s a glitzy number that will surely go down well with commercial.

Competing with Sebastian for radio additions this week is OneRepublic & Seeb with ‘Rich Love’, Ricki Lee’s ‘Not Too Late’, and Maroon 5’s ‘What Lovers Do’, while Khalid will try to crack commercial once more with the catchy ‘Young, Dumb and Broke’.
