Splendour In The Grass might be dropping their artist announcement tomorrow, but there’s plenty of festival excitement today already. Five major Australian events have made artist line-up announcements – from early teasers, to local cherries on top of already stacked lineups.

Sydney’s Curve Ball, held at Carriageworks on June 11 as part of Vivid, released the first artists this afternoon, with the promise of more:

The Blurst Of Times is returning to Fortitude Valley, Queensland for another year. After selling out in 2016, the event has hit back again with an abundance of top Australian names across punk, garage and jangly pop for its 2017 edition.

Byron Bay natives Skegss lead the bill along with Ngaiire and recent SXSW graduate Alex Lahey (right).

25 super impressive country music acts have been added to the 2017 Broadbeach Country Music Festival lineup. Featuring on this year’s bill is Australia’s Got Talent stars The Wolfe Brothers, award-winning songstress Sara Storer along with Caitlyn Shadbolt, Tomato Tomato and Drew McAlister.

They will join a healthy batch of previously announced artists including America, Kasey Chambers (right), Troy Cassar-Daley and more.
