Independent record label Social Family Records has inked a deal with Matt Scullion, adding one of the most respected songwriters in the business to their growing roster, which also includes country artists Amber Lawrence, Troy Kemp, Jason Owen and Gretta Ziller.  

Ten years since his last release, which featured hit songs ’Giddy Up’ and ’Hard Earned Money’, earning him four Golden Guitar and two APRA Song of the Year nominations, Matt is currently putting the finishing touches on his long awaited second album and set to release its first single, ’Outta My Own Way’, in mid-September.

He’s credited with penning 15 number 1 songs, recorded by the likes of Cold Chisel, Lee Kernaghan, Sara Storer, Adam Harvey and Travis Collins to name but a few, and is one of the most sought-after co-writers.
