Sony Music Entertainment Australia promotes Grant Donges

Sony Music Entertainment Australia has promoted Grant Donges to Director, Promotions & Publicity, Australian Artists Creative Marketing and Television Entertainment, Asia Pacific.

The role reflects his new responsibility for Television Entertainment in the company's Asia Pacific region.

Based in East Sydney and reporting to Denis Handlin for his Asian responsibilities, Donges will now work with Ariel Fung (EVP, Marketing, Asia) and continue to work closely with John Parker (General Manager, Marketing & Promotions and Artist Touring Division, ANZ) and Wayne Ringrow (Senior Director, Australian Artists Marketing) in his Australian role.

With his new responsibilities in the integration of television formats into the company's Asia Pacific strategy, Donges will work closely with the SyCo team in London and liaise with production companies, in particular FremantleMedia.

Since joining Sony Music in 2001 as Retail Marketing Executive, and taking on various roles in Sales, Publicity, Creative Marketing and Promotions, Donges has accrued a wealth of experience in developing talent that feature on leading televised talent programs like X Factor and Australia’s Got Talent. He recently worked closely with Guy Sebastian for his Eurovision performance and traveled with him to Vienna.
