Sounds Australia launches Australia House, the home for Aussie talent at SXSW

Sounds Australia is ramping up its presence at SXSW 2018, with the launch of Australia House as the venue for their showcase lineups.

Australia House is a partnership with G’Day USA, and will provide a platform for our most exciting creatives, innovators, artists atastemakersers.

High-profile personalities Hugh Jackman, Curtis Stone, Matt Moran and more of Australia’s best cultural and tech exports will be brought together under one roof, alongside some of the most exciting music acts.

The showcases to take place at Australia House include the Sound Gallery, the world famous Aussie BBQ, with presenting partners including Future Classic, Metropolitan Groove Merchants, Our Golden Friend and Secret Sounds.

Blundstone and Tim Tam are also on board as presenting partners for the Aussie BBQ, with the Tim Tam Slams showcase offering speedy and tasty sets of upcoming acts - just like the quintessentially Australian biscuit!

Nightlife Music is also a supporting partner, and will help to soundtrack the venue over the week, including artists handpicked by triple j Unearthed.

Sounds Australia has played a vital part in fast-tracking the success of Australians overseas down the years, and their presence at SXSW 2018 looks set to be no exception.
