PRESS RELEASE:
Put the DJ’s in the Coconut Club and dance it all up! Southbound has just added a bunch of our very own, homegrown, DJ’s and producers to its infamous ‘Coconut Club’ presented by Captain Morgans, celebrating ten years at the event! Sandy dance floors, bangin’ beats, a spunky lifesaver tending to your safety at all times (tower and all), sun beds, beach umbrellas and an endless stream of Captain Morgans’ spiced rum and cola, the Coconut Club has become the place to be to get down at Southbound
DJ’s making the pilgrimage to Southbound’s coconut-heaven include wonder-kid Kilter, GC Lord Paces, Adelaide’s Disco Stu Luke Millions, Brisbane’s party legend Young Franco, a DJ set from Elk Road, Sydney’s soul man Klue, the sassiest gal on the Australian club scene Luen and hometown legends Loston and Palace.
They will be joining ‘Coconut Club’ veterans Boston Switch, DJ Mandy B, DJ Mutchy, Fungle Club, Micah Black (RTR), Swami Adima & Bongo Loco, The Housejunkie and The Shadow Brothers (Rough love/The Factory).
The ‘Coconut Club’ all started ten years ago with local DJ Swami Adima and his combi ute as a salute the late and great ‘Coconut Bar’. The stage has now expanded to showcase some of Oz’s best DJ’s and producers who are at the forefront of our dance scene. Previous ‘Coconut Club’ superstar alumni include: Nina Las Vegas, Young MC, KLP and Yahtzel.
