Perth singer-songwriter Stella Donnelly has signed an international (exclusive ANZ) deal with US label Secretly Canadian.
The new deal comes off the back of a massive 2017, in which she won triple j’s Unearthed Artist of the Year award, as well as
Donnelly also took out the WAM Award for Best EP for Thrush Metal.
"With her clever, yet direct lyrics, Stella’s work is threaded with a rare mix of wit and emotion," said the label’s co-founder and co-owner Ben Swanson.
"I couldn’t be more honoured to be working with Stella and cannot wait to hear what she unleashes on the world next."
Swanson first caught a glimpse of Donnelly at BIGSOUND 2018, notes themusic, and was taken by her performance.
"I am so excited and grateful to be joining the Secretly Canadian family!" said Donnelly.

Donnelly is also gearing up for a 12-date tour of Australia alongside good friend Alex The Astronaut this April, but prior to that she’ll play at SXSW.
