You know how you tried to record songs from your favourite BDO act onto your smartphone? Well, chances are that recording will be mostly white noise and crowd din, but luckily for you, music streaming service Rdio were on-hand during last Sunday’s Sydney Big Day Out to record the best performances, which are now available to stream below, or via the free Rdio app.
This follows Rdio’s successful streaming of ARIA Awards content last month, and their partnership with the Grammys this week.
“Big Day Out is easily one of the biggest and best events on the Australian music festival calendar, and this weekend’s event again proved why it has such a great reputation” said Colin Blake, Head of Rdio Australia. “We’re so excited to be able to share the mind-blowing energy of such incredible artists such as Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion and Bluejuice, amongst many others.”
In addition, Rdio is also streaming interview content hosted by Jake and Stav of Bluejuice/triple j fame.
