New conference and festival Australian Music Week is on the hunt for artists to feature at their event.

Running in Sydney’s Cronulla Beach during November 18-22, AMW is encouraging bands and artists to sign up to perform at the event, with applications opening on July 8. According to AMW’s Facebook page, musicians will have the opportunity to perform in front of Australia’s top music industry professionals during the five-day event.

A brand new event, AMW is described as a mixture of ‘”festival, music industry conference, and artist showcase event.” Panellists, although yet to be announced, will include some of the most influential figures in the music business.

Workshops, interviews and networking sessions will run throughout the day, while up-and-coming talent will be showcased during the evenings.

AMW focuses on the business of global music, and is designed for industry executives, recording professionals, artists and those interested in breaking into the music industry. Additionally, it will serve as a platform for new talent to showcase their work and gain exposure.

To register for the conference, visit the AMW website for tickets and more information. Tickets to the event will also be available in various local stores throughout Cronulla.
