On Christmas Eve 2015 The Beatles released their catalogue on Spotify for fans (old and new) to enjoy. Since then, listeners have streamed the Fab Four more than a number of current chart topping artists including 5 Seconds of Summer, Ariana Grande, Sia and Ed Sheeran, reinforcing their timeless appeal and ability to transcend generations.  Today we reveal how Beatle Mania has hit Australia and the world during the first 100 days on Spotify.

 

The Beatles in numbers (Australia and Worldwide):

- 6.5m monthly listeners worldwide.

- 67% of listeners globally are under the age of 35, with 25-34 year olds in Australia streaming The Beatles the most.

- Globally, The Beatles’ listeners are 65% male, 35% female, globally.
