these two aussie festivals are officially sold out

Both the NSW’s EDM Subsonic Music and the Victorian surf coast’s eclectic Queenscliff Music Festivals have sold out two days apart.

Subsonic Music, set up by Sydney DJs MSG and Marcotix in 2008, is held in the picturesque Riverwood Downs, with camping grounds between Friday, December 1 and Sunday, December 3.

Acts include Andrew Weatherall, A.B Original, Pearson Sound, Sampa The Great, Rodriguez Jr / Dub FX, Coloursound, Cocopop, True Vibenation and Mantra Collective.

After selling out for the first time last year the 21st edition of the Queenscliff Music Festival also hit capacity a month out.

It is held Friday, November 24 to Sunday 26 in Bellarine peninsula’s spectacular seaside village.

Aside from the diverse food offerings, the 70-strong bill includes Bernard Fanning, Russell Morris, Xavier Rudd, The Temper Trap, The Beautiful Girls, 30/70,  the Bamboos, Beccy Cole, Canada’s East Pointers, USA’s Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen,Yothu Yindi & The Treaty Project, The Wilson Pickers, Bob Evans, Stella Donnelly and Sex On Toast.
