Timmy Trumpet joins Electronic Music Conference (EMC)

Electronic Music Conference (EMC) organisers announced their biggest speaker lineup yet for the December 1-2 event in Sydney. Spearheading the latest lineup announcement is multi-platinum selling artist Timmy Trumpet, currently ranked Australia’s #1 DJ (inthemix Awards 2015) and whose hit single “Freaks” this year became Ministry of Sound’s highest ever selling single. 

Joining already announced speakers Carl Cox, Gilles Peterson and Ta-ku, will be breakthrough 19-year-old Australian rapper Tkay Maidza, YouTube sensations Mashd N Kutcher, rising stars Slumberjack, Melbourne Producer/DJ Benson, ‘r u a cop’ producers The Meeting Tree, electro-pop breakout artist Michelle Xen, plus many more game-changers and decision-makers in the electronic music industry. 

EMC are proud to announce JMC Academy as the official presenting partner of this year’s Masterclass Theatre, unpinning their commitment to deliver inspiring and technologically sophisticated programs that cater to the global needs of creative industries. This JMC Masterclass program will also include tailored interviews and panel discussions focusing on the needs and interests of emerging artists and industry members. Delegates will get the chance to join some of the biggest names in electronic music including Tigerlily, Mashd N Kutcher, Slumberjack, Benson, The Meeting Tree,songwriter Chris Arnott, Founder and Director of Tiny Monster Jess Beston, Artist Manager Ali Tomoana, Blink and General Manager of 120 Publishing Karen Hamilton as they offer aspiring music producers and fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to find out how some of the best in the industry create their music.

For the first time in 2015, EMC is making the event more accessible to aspiring artists, managers, promoters and others wanting to break into the industry with the EMC Academy pass which offers buyers access to just the JMC Masterclass Theatre at a reduced rate compared to the EMC Pro pass which gives buyers full access to all EMC keynotes, masterclasses, panels, networking events and parties.
