Tkay Maidza to support Rita Ora in US

As she continues to sell-out and add new shows to her final Australian tour for the year, the five-foot something  force known as Tkay Maidza has caught the attention of yet another international heavyweight; gearing up to support British megastar Rita Ora in the U.S. this week.

The 19-year-old emcee is in L.A. and New York at the moment working on her debut album (due for release early next year) and will play three Californian shows with the Roc Nation-signed superstar before returning to Australia for her own headline tour next month.

Tickets to her upcoming Melbourne show at Corner Hotel have now SOLD OUT with Tkay today announcing a second and final date on Sunday 4 October for the city  on her already-extended dometic tour. This follows fast AF sell outs in Sydney, Adelaide and Hobart. Tickets are selling fast to these additional shows as well as the all-age and under-18 performances. Millennials are advised to purchase quickly as these shows will sell out!

Kicking off in Sydney in September and ending in Melbourne three weeks later, the now-16 date tour features special guests Willow Beats, Porsches and L.K. McKay.

Tkay is also set to slay the stages of some of Australia’s coolest Summer festivals including This That, Beyond The Valley, Meredith Festival and Lost Paradise.

Maidza’s dates with Ora follow a string of recent supports with major international acts including Charli XCX, Mark Ronson and UK band of the moment Years & Years.
