I’m always amazed at the talent of song-writing that comes through the triple j Unearthed website every week, and one recent track which took my breath away is the new single for upcoming Brisbane songstress Clea (pronounced: Clay).

Dire Consequences is a incredibly enchanting and intimate song, one which on first listen is pretty understated but continues to open up to you more and more on each listen. It’s a really promising start for the young songwriter, who is about to head overseas to play a few intimate shows in London before heading the long way back home to record her debut EP.
