Give Me Something

Two songs in, and Brisbane’s Jarryd James continues to shoot goals, showing exactly why the young songwriter is already a force to be reckoned with. Jarryd called into the triple j studios earlier this week to give Veronica & Lewis the world premiere of Give Me Something, the second song off his forthcoming debut album. Again produced with NZ powerhouse Joel Little, sonically it shows off a brighter side to Jarryd but vocally traverses darker ideas around unrequited love, and as with his breakout single Do You Remember, it grows and grows on each listen.

Jarryd is currently in LA finishing off the LP, and when talking to Veronica & Lewis let slip he’s been working with some big names on the album, including the Grammy award winning producer Malay who’s known for his work on Frank Ocean’s Planet Orange. He’ll be back in July for a run of shows before hitting Splendour In The Grass.
