Sydney born The Jezabels have been bunkered down in their newly found home of London for the last little while recording their much awaited sophomore album. Their debut Prisoner was nominated for a J Award, and won the Australian Music Prize in 2011, as well as their hit single Endless Summer cracking the top 10 of the Hottest 100 that year, coming in at #9. Earlier this week The Doctor premiered their new single The End on triple j; in true Jezabels form, it’s a soaring, moody and seductive indie number, which once again shows off the incredible vocals of front woman Hayley Mary. Their yet to be titled album was recorded with producer Dan Grech-Marguerat, whose credits include such artists as Lana Del Rey, The Vaccines, The Kooks  and Scissor Sisters, and will be released independently in early 2014. The band will also be out in the country touring next year as a part of the Laneway Festival.
