triple j pick of the week worlds end press

Melbourne’s purveyors of fine, live electro driven house, World’s End Press, have kept themselves busy since their 2013 debut self-titled record won us over and earned triple j Feature Album status, saw them tour with Architecture In Helsinki, appear on Cut Copy’s latest LP, and perform arts festivals like Semi-Permanent and Melbourne Music Week to name a few. Now they’re taking some time out from writing and recording album #2 by releasing a new single, Spirals (Slide Away), and hitting the road over December and New Years in support of it.

At first, Spirals (Slide Away) is an unassuming track, initially washing over you without leaving much of an impact. However you soon realise it’s crept into your skin, continuing to grow until the pulsing verses and haunting chorus takes over your eardrums. It’s a very promising sign of more things to come from World’s End Press in 2015.
