Jaala - Hard Hold 

[Wondercore Island/Warner]

Melbourne folk-pop Jaala deliver their debut album with Hard Hold, and it’s already received critical praise from Pitchfork, and NME, calling frontwoman Cosima a “perfectly abstract pop-star”. The group were also named the “festival standout” by Financial Times UK for their performance at BigSound.

An experimental, slow moving kaleidoscope of melodies and feelings, Hard Hold is another forefront project from the thriving Melbourne music scene.
