As we all know, the Unearthed volcano spits that hot fire every single day. And, as the days get cooler, we consider ourselves very lucky just to be around it. But every now and then a lump of absolute magma lands on your desktop, scorching up every file and folder in its path. As soon as you hear it you never want it to end, and when it does,you’re heading straight to that sideways triangle to relive the whole thing again.

Shark Thunder from Brissie dudes The Jensens is one of those certifiable sizzlers. Hot fuzzy guitars, reverb for days and a pining, heartstring-tugger of a chorus. It’s the fearless strut of a six-month-old band and the result of a team-up with producer Konstantin Kersting (The Belligerents).

Proving it’s no fluke, the five-piece followed it up not long after with the super bright and slightly misleading Sick Sad World. You can find both up on their Unearthed profile but start with Shark Thunder and just try and only listen to it once.
