triple j Unearthed unveils Australian music discovery podcast

triple j Unearthed has launched a brand new weekly Australian music discovery podcast hosted by music director Dave Ruby Howe and social media manager Max Quinn.

Each Friday, the boys will get together to breakdown and guide listeners through the Unearthed Top 5, made up of the best independent Aussie songs uploaded to triple j Unearthed that week. All songs will be played out in their entirety throughout the show.

Bonus installments and one-off specials like the popular ‘If You Like Series’ and ‘Forecast: 2018’ will also crop up during the podcast, serving to bolster the cause through expert recommendations and ‘artists to watch’ in 2018.      

The first edition, which is available to listen now, features the current Unearthed Top 5 including Holiday Party, Murray Darling, G Flip, Birdz and Bloods.
