FEATURE ALBUM

Dead Letter Circus - Aesthesis
[UNFD/Warner]

In 2005, the Brisbane band were an outlet for crestfallen fans of soft rock looking for vindication. Now, having sold 100,000 records sold in Australia alone, and with their single While You Wait named the #1 most played track on Triple J in June, they're tapping into more varied fan bases.

Produced by Matt Bartlem (Jarryd James, Matt Corby) and Forrester Savell (The Occupants) and mixed by multiple Grammy Award winner Chris Lord-Alge (Muse, Deftones, Green Day, Slipknot, My Chemical Romance), Aesthesis is beautiful, chaotic and warmly familiar for all its epic, re-purposed patterns.

Given the fact both previous albums debuted at #2 on the ARIA chart, and the band's While You Wait single tour sold out more than a month in advance, at this point the band is recruiting more zealots than its influencers.
