FEATURE ALBUM

Superfood - Don't Say That [Infectious/Liberator]

Superfood’s debut is abundant with '90s alternative rock influences, so much so that they have garnered the unofficial reputation of being Britpop revivalists. On Don’t Say That, influences of Blur and Supergrass flash through the 13 track set as lead singer Dom Ganderton’s vocals ride the chugging guitar melodies, buoyant basslines and decidedly playful riffs.

With the indie four-piece covering everything from the re-animation of plants, to the attacks of the munchies and the likening of society to a television, Don’t Say That stands as an imaginative record that indulges in some very welcome '90s nostalgia.
