FEATURE ALBUM

Major Lazer - Peace Is The Mission
[Mad Decent/Warner]

Diplo has enjoyed some of the highest charting singles of his career with Major Lazer, and with the project's latest offering, the dizzying Peace Is The Mission, he should get his second ARIA Top 10 entry. Major Lazer's 2013 LP Free The Universe entered the ARIA Albums chart at #5 and currently sits just outside the Top 40 at #41. But whether this cartoon-collaboration-turned-chart-topping-heavyweight becomes Diplo's main affection or not, his credits this year alone keep him nimble. His Jack Ü alias with Skrillex gave both DJs their first Billboard hit with Lean On, and his five production credits on Madonna's Rebel Heart widened his audience market. Featuring Ariana Grande, 2 Chainz, Ellie Goulding, and Pusha T among others, Peace Is The Mission may prove disorienting to Diplo newcomers, but it'll be another chart-hugging release all the same.
