The Compton rapper set a Spotify record for most streams in a day on Monday with 9.6 million streams. After teasing us with the humble dischord of i, the equally controlled The Blacker The Berry, and the almost leaked King Kunta, Lamar released the highly anticipated follow-up to his initial career peak Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City on Sunday night. The record, already hailed a victory lap in preliminary reviews, features Flying Lotus, Pharrell, Snoop Dogg and Isley Brothers lead singer Ronald Isley.
