TMN Artist Spotlight

Four-piece indie popsters Dick Diver are set to hit the music scene once again with the release of their new single, Waste The Alphabet.

The group, made up of Rupert Edwards, Alistair McKay, Steph Hughes and Al Montfort formed back in 2008, with their acclaimed debut album, New Start Again dropping in 2011.

2013 saw the band deliver their follow-up Calender Days, which was named best Australian album by The Guardian and was referred to as one of the 50 albums that defined the last decade by Fasterlouder.

Keeping with their tradition of creating music in out of the way locales, Dick Diver recently headed to a shed in Apollo Bay in order to bring their new LP, Melbourne, Florida to life. Recorded by Mikey Young (Total Control/Eddy Current) the album will be released via Chapter Music in Australia, New Zealand and Japan in March, 2015.
