The second artist announcement for the 35th Gympie Music Muster lineup has just been released, hosting yet another prestigious crop of renowned talent from Australia and abroad to join the ranks of some of Australia’s finest country music giants including Kasey Chambers, John Williamson, Beccy Cole andThe McClymonts.
Held from August 25 – 28, The Muster’s 2nd line-up announce features some of the first performances in Australia from USA’s top 10 grossing touring comedian Rodney Carrington…and Canada’s biggest country music star (who just so happens to be Australian) Gord Bamford.
The line up of artists just announced to join the Muster bill include:
After releasing his debut LP Hanging with Rodney in 1998, the celebrated comedian and performer has rubbed shoulders with great names such as Willie Nelson and Toby Keith while starring in comedy films such as Beer for my Horses and Laughter’s Good. After this his career skyrocketed to see 9 million viewers tune into his one-hour Comedy Central TV special sitcomRodney in 2004-2006. With 1.1 million Facebook followers and his new singleVote for Trump (#2 on iTunes Comedy Charts) audiences continue to loveCarrington’s raucous musical comedy which has seen many past sold out perfomances across the US and Canada. Rodney is sure to pack out the Crow Bar when he appears at the Muster on Saturday 27th August.
Festival tickets range from $85 - $370 per person which includes camping. A number of other packages are also available. Children under 13 free; and youth (under 18) tickets start at $10 - please note all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
