umpg acquires rights to twisted sister

PRESS RELEASE:

Legendary Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider stopped by Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) headquarters to conclude a worldwide agreement for UMPG to acquire his Snidest Music music publishing catalog of 69 songs, including the classic Twisted Sister rock anthems “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and “I Wanna Rock.” UMPG previously administered the copyrights in the U.S. and Canada. The songs in the catalog have been featured in numerous national commercials, films, television and the popular Broadway musical, Rock of Ages, which currently has residency at the Venetian Las Vegas.
