vanda and young songwriting competition extended by a week

Songwriters have one more week to enter their song in the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, with entries confirmed to close February 22 at 5pm AEDT.

It’s the final, final extension and gives songwriters worldwide a bit more time to ready their entry to go in the running for A$75,000 cash and travel prizes.

As always, the full entry fee supports the transformative work of Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy Australia (NRMTA).

This year’s winning songwriter/s will take home:

1st place - A$50,000 thanks to APRA AMCOS, Alberts and BMG, plus a A$A5,000 Show Group travel package in honour of their late GM Graham Fear who passed away last December and was a longtime Nordoff-Robbins board member.

2nd place - A$10,000 thanks to AMPAL (Australasian Music Publisher Association)

3rd place - A$5,000 courtesy of media sponsor Seventh Street Media
